By purchasing from Artistic Design Gift Baskets, you are accepting the practices described in this Privacy Notice. Our privacy policies apply to both online and all other business transactions including customers who order by telephone, mail, or any other media. All information collected becomes the property of Artistic Design Gift Baskets. Artistic Design will not sell, barter, rent, lease, trade or traffic in your personal information to third parties (note the exclusion regarding “Sale of Artistic Design”, below).   

Our privacy practices do not cover information collected or disseminated by any third-party web sites that may be linked to adgiftbaskets.com and site visitors are encouraged to inform themselves of privacy policies that apply at these other sites.

In order to transact business and arrange for settlement via credit card or other method, we collect:

We often collect information about other people. For example, if you order a gift basket and want it sent directly to the recipient, you will need to provide the recipient's address and other information. In this circumstance, the types of personal information collected are:

How We Use Information:
The information we collect is used by us to contact consumers for important information and marketing purposes. Artistic Design will not sell, barter, rent, lease, trade or traffic in your personal information to third parties (note the exclusion regarding “Sale of Artistic Design”, below).   

We may share such information in order to conform to and/or comply with legal requirements or court orders, to protect the rights of Artistic Design Gift Baskets, or to act wholly at our own discretion under exigent circumstances to protect the safety of Artistic Design Gift Basket's personnel or assets, or the public. 

We use the information you provide about gift recipients when placing an order only to ship the product, to confirm delivery and for our own marketing purposes. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order (such as with delivery or courier companies). We offer gift-greeting messages by which you can personalize a product you order for another person. Information you provide to us to create a greeting is only used for that purpose, and it is disclosed only to the person receiving the gift. Credit Card and Monetary Security
We collect only the information necessary to process your transaction. Customer credit card information is not retained in any electronic data system (hence we may ask you for this information each time you order). Credit card companies or other financial institutions may collect information about purchases at Artistic Design. Customers should familiarize themselves with the privacy policies of their financial institution. 

How We Use Your IP Address
We use IP addresses to determine the general locations our site's visitors hail from. We use this information only to measure trend and to modify our site to better appeal to users' needs..   

Cookies
"Cookies" are pieces of data your browser stores on your computer's hard drive at a website’s request. We do not serve cookies or store cookies on visitors' computers other than to count the number of visitors and track their general geographic location (only as detailed as to city/town and Lat/Long) using the services of www.statcounter.com. We do not gather personal information other than disclosed above, browsing habits or “data mine” in any way. We shall install no executable code. Customers who are concerned about data mining, malware, or spyware, may visit Ad-AwareSE and/or Spybot Search and Destroy for advice and utilities. Artistic Design does not endorse these sites, or accept any liability for use of utilities there. 

About Children
Artistic Design Gift Baskets does not target children nor do we expect to attract children to our site. Because we are not a children's site, we do offer some products that are adult in nature. Because of this, we insist that children seek the consent and participation of their parent(s) or legal guardian. Artistic Design will not knowingly accept adult merchandise orders from minors.  

Sale of Artistic Design
In the event of a merger, consolidation, or sale or transfer of all or substantially all of the assets or business of Artistic Design Gift Baskets, be it a sole proprietor, partnership or incorporated entity, the information we collect and have collected from our customers may be transferred as an asset to any new entity. The use of this information by any successor would still be governed by the terms of this privacy policy, as amended from time to time, including any amendment after such transaction.
