Order in the morning,
delivery directly to the wards in the afternoon. What does a Regina
General patient do after 5 minutes of looking at and sniffing the
flowers they got? Dig into the gift basket you sent, of course! Your
gift can include get-well wishes that ease the boredom of recovery.
Patients can pass the time with magazines, puzzles, books, notepads
and games. When the patient is permitted, we can include foodstuffs
like fruit, cookies, herbal teas, specialty coffees, hot chocolate
or other treats. Get-well baskets are dressed up to cheer up, and
show you thought enough to make your greeting useful and personal,
not just another flowers bouquet to sit with all the others.

A father brought his son into the doctor because the boy had a
matchbox car shoved up his nose. All the while the doctor was trying
to remove the car, the father kept saying "I don't know how he did
it!" Finally the doctor removed the car, and the father and son
left.
A few hours later, the father came back with the matchbox shoved up
HIS nose. He told the doctor, "I know how he did it!"
There was this city doctor who started a practice in the
countryside. He once had to go to a farm to attend to a sick farmer
who lived there. After a few housecalls he stopped coming to the
farm. The puzzled farmer finally phoned him to ask whats the matter,
didn't he like him or somethin'. The doctor said, "No, its your
ducks at the entrance...every time I enter the farm, they verbally
insult me!"
Shortly after the 911 emergency number became available, an elderly
and quite ill lady appeared in a hospital emergency room, having
driven herself to the hospital and barely managing to stagger in
from the parking lot. The horrified nurse said, 'Why didn't you call
the 911 number and get an ambulance?'
The lady said, 'Young lady, My phone doesn't have an eleven.'
"Doctors at a hospital have gone on strike. Hospital officials say
they will find out what the Doctors' demands are as soon as they can
get a pharmacist over there to read the picket signs."
Doctor: What's the condition of the boy who swallowed the quarter?
Nurse: No change yet.
